The Project Coordinator POLIMI, and project partners Upcell and COMAU have represented the CINEA funded BATTwin project at the Batteries Innovation Days 2024 in Barcelona on November 26-27.

The agenda of the event included presentations on funding for the battery value chain, solid-state and circular batteries, the future of design-to-cost chemistries in Europe and challenges in manufacturing equipment.

This event was a key platform for driving innovation and collaboration in the battery industry, bringing together pioneers from across the sector. We were thus excited to highlight how BATTwin leverages digital twins, the ZDM approach and advanced modelling to improve efficiency, sustainability, and performance for battery cell manufacturing.
