BATTwin paper presented at MMAR 2026

The BATTwin project was represented at the 20th International Conference on Methods and Models in Automation and Robotics (MMAR 2026), held in Międzyzdroje, Poland, from 18–21 August 2026.

The conference provided an opportunity to present the BATTwin research paper “Physics-Based Derivation of Scrap Probabilities in the Stacking Stage of Battery Manufacturing”, authored by A. Rauh, L. Wünderlich, A. Melechì, E.D. Marra and L.M. Lachello.

The presentation showcased the latest developments in process-level digital twins for battery manufacturing, focusing on the stacking stage and the use of physics-based approaches to derive scrap probabilities.

With an audience of approx. 100 participants from the scientific community, MMAR 2026 provided a valuable platform to disseminate BATTwin results and engage with researchers working on automation, modelling and advanced manufacturing systems.
